Real Madrid have been warned against hiring Jose Mourinho if Carlo Ancelotti decides to leave at the end of the season.
Ancelotti's role at the Santiago Bernabeu remains uncertain as he continues to be linked with the Brazil national side.
There are also reports claiming he is coming under fire with Los Blancos sitting 12 points behind arch-rivals FC Barcelona in the LaLiga title race.

Mourinho's been linked with a potential return to the Santiago Bernabeu, but former Los Blancos striker Antonio Cassano feels that is not a good idea.
"He can return to Real Madrid if Ancelotti does not continue, but if Los Blancos want a coach, they will not call Mourinho for their new project," Cassano told BoboTV.
"Mou doesn't give a sh*t about football. He doesn't like to work, he doesn't know how to communicate or speak, let's not be fooled by his story."
Mourinho has won trophies at the likes of Real, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Manchester United and now AS Roma.
"I don't know how he achieves those results, because it's just cinema. He was a great coach, but right now he can train Real Madrid, as he can also train San Martines," Cassano added.
