Since joining the Spanish giants for a club-record fee from Chelsea in 2019, the winger has made just 73 appearances across all competitions for Real.
This season has, however, arguably been his most difficult campaign in terms of game time, particularly as he has been fit for the majority of the term.
Head coach Carlo Ancelotti has continued to overlook the 32-year-old despite his availability, and recently admitted that there is little communication between himself and Belgium's former captain.
In a recent interview, long-time Los Blancos midfielder Kroos was asked to weigh in on the conversation about his colleague and appeared in no mood to show sympathy.
"Of course, it's a difficult situation, but pity is out of place in football," he told Eleven Sports.
"I don't think Eden has a bad life. You can feel sorry for people who have a much worse life than him.
"It's not about money, I don't feel sorry for anyone in football."
Hazard has featured on just seven occasions for the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners this season, with his last appearance coming on 3 January.
