Indications from sources are that two clubs abroad are understood to have expressed interested in Monnapule Saleng.
A source close to the team has revealed that two unnamed European clubs are believed to have been monitoring the player since he broke into the starting line-up against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-finals in last year.
"I can tell you know that he could leave as early as June this year if all goes well. As to where will he go will depend on which team tables the best offer to Pirates," a source revealed to the Siya crew.
"But some representatives of the team interested in him are supposed to come this weekend and watch the Soweto Derby where he is expected to play. They have watched him play against Mamelodi Sundowns and other teams and now they want to see how he can perform in a derby. But they are seriously interested in him. That I can confirm with you."
