Neymar 'Opens Talks' With Five EPL Clubs
On the weekend, the Ligue 1 table-toppers put out a statement on their website that confirmed that the 31-year-old had suffered a sprained ankle.
Neymar left the field in tears on Sunday after scoring and assisting in PSG's dramatic 4-3 victory over Lille, with the club saying that further scans will be done on Tuesday.
"Neymar suffered a sprained ankle during the game against Lille and underwent an MRI scan today," the statement read.
"It did not reveal any fracture. A new ligament assessment will be carried out in 48 hours."
The former Barcelona winger has had bad luck when it comes to ankle injuries in recent years, having suffered one last season that kept him sidelined for 73 days.
