Al Nassr head coach Rudi Garcia has revealed when Cristiano Ronaldo will make his debut in the Middle East, admitting he is not happy with the game.
Al Nassr Coach Reveals His One Wish For Ronaldo
On Monday, Paris Saint-Germain announced that the club's first team will compete against an all-star XI made up of players from Saudi giants Al-Hilal and Al Nassr later this month.
The friendly fixture had been a possibility for a while, with many fans around the world hoping for a chance to see old rivals Ronaldo and Lionel Messi go head to head one more time.
Garcia, however, has admitted to not being thrilled that the match will take place, but did reveal that his new Al Nassr arrival is set to play in the encounter.
"It (his debut) won't be with the Al Nassr jersey. It will be a mix between Al Hilal and Al Nassr," he said, according to L'Equipe.
"As the coach of Al Nassr, I cannot be happy with this match. For development, to see PSG, to see the great Parisian players, indeed it is a good thing. But we have a championship game three days later.
"In terms of scheduling, it could have been better thought out. But it's not a big deal... We are in the lead, we are happy. It is a difficult championship to win, but we intend to do it."
Ronaldo has reportedly become the world's highest-paid player following his move to the Middle East, a transfer that has drawn criticism from many of the sport's observers.
