The left winger has netted four goals in six appearances in all competitions so far this season and has been involved in the creation of other goals his teammates as well.
With the 24-year-old's star rising, some advice has been offered to the player by the Buccaneers' former striker James Mothibi.
"Saleng is a very good player and a good boy and my advice to him is that he should keep his head down. He is from a disadvantaged background and is a motivation for many youngsters from his area. He has not yet arrived, and this is only his introduction into football. I know the boy and he didn't have a nice journey into becoming a professional footballer. It took a lot of sweat from him to be where he is now that he is playing for a big team like Orlando Pirates," said Mothibi.

"I just want to say congratulations to the family (Pirates), and as an ex-player, I am very proud. I always go to the training sessions of the young boys to motivate them and I'm happy also for Joseph Makhanya and we will follow. If you are at Pirates, you are like at school where they teach you about discipline and they teach you about how to behave. Pirates doesn't associate themselves with players that do not act professionally in the community," he said.
