Reports suggest that Real Madrid are in the process of working on a deal to bring Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Guardiola Addresses Haaland-Real Madrid Links
According to Marca, Los Blancos are already laying the groundwork to sign Bellingham next season.
It seems that, in recent windows, Real have been preparing for the departures of club legends Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric. The recruitment of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni have been geared towards establishing a new dynastic midfield three, and Bellingham appears to be the missing piece in the Spanish club's master plan.
The 14-time European champions are aware they are not alone in their pursuit of the teenager, but are hoping the lure of playing for a historic football institution like theirs will sway the Englishman to signing for them ahead of the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.
Bellingham left England as a 17-year-old in 2020 to develop his football education in Germany, so it is felt he would be comfortable adapting to another foreign league, and while some of the Premier League's bigger teams will likely be able to offer him more money, Real are hoping their sporting project can convince him to make the switch to the Spanish capital.
