A former France star has blasted Kylian Mbappe for recently questioning Paris Saint-Germain manager's Christopher Galtier's tactics.
Mbappe seemingly fired a dig at club's tactics while on international duty with France, where he revealed he has a lot more freedom with the national side.
The comments came after the PSG star bagged an impressive goal against Austria in the UEFA Nations League last week, as the world champions claimed a 2-0 win.
1998 World Cup winner Emmanuel Petit was not happy with Mbappe's comments and claims Lionel Messi and the other might start to get irritated.
"It's always about the same player, and at some point it has got to stop," Petit told RMC.
"Mbappe is intelligent, but does it ever occur to him two seconds after saying something that his words have consequences?
"They have a boomerang effect. He should say them to his manager in private.
"Players speak from the heart about their team - and there he goes putting things in the public domain.
"I imagine Lionel Messi and company are starting to get sick and tired of hearing him speak out every time.
"The next step will be PSG asking him what sort of team he wants them to pick. That will be the next step."
