Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro says the club's management will have the final say on whether Ndumiso Mabena will seal a sensational return to the Buccaneers.

Mabena has this week started training with the Buccaneers in hopes of landing a contract with the club where he spent five years between 2009 and 2014, although he had an unsatisfactory return in front of goal, managing just eight goals and four assists in 71 appearances for Pirates in that time.
The veteran striker had also featured 24 times for Royal AM in all competitions last season, scoring three goals.
It then comes as a bit of a surprise that the Buccaneers would be considering the 35-year-old free agent, with the likes of Evidence Makgopa, Kwame Peprah, Eva Nga and now Kermit Erasmus as their striking options.

Speaking to the media ahead of their MTN8 clash against Mamelodi Sundowns, the Spanish coach has commented on Mabena's progress at the Buccaneers.
"Mabena, he is training with us. He was training with us for the last six or seven training [sessions] and lets see what happens in the future and what the management decides about Mabena's future in the team," Riveiro said.
Riveiro's side have been boosted by the deadline day signs of Erasmus, Phillip Ndlondlo and Sipho Chaine who are all available for Saturday's MTN8 clash against Mamelodi Sundowns.
