Having played alongside Kylian Mbappe for more than a year at Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi has revealed his thoughts on the 23-year-old.
Messi: Why I Had A Bad Time At PSG Last Season
The Argentine joined the French giants in August last year after Barcelona president Joan Laporta decided that handing him a new contract would be impossible from a financial standpoint.
Messi has acknowledged that he battled in his first season in France, recently noting that he has arrived for the 2022/23 campaign in better shape mentally and physically after he suffered from long-term COVID-19 side effects.
This time out, the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner has looked more like the Messi his fans have come to love, having played a hand in 14 goals in just 11 matches so far for the French giants.
The Argentina captain has looked a constant threat alongside Neymar and Mbappe, whom he believes will be among the world's best for a long time going forward.
"Kylian is a different player, a beast who is very strong in one-on-one, who goes into space, who is very fast, who scores a lot of goals," he told TUDN Mexico.
Why Neymar Really Left Barca For PSG 'Revealed'
"He is a complete player and he has proved it for years, and in the years to come, he will certainly be among the best."
