With Luís Miquissone completing a loan move to Saudi Arabia, Al Ahly are reportedly set to replace the Mozambique international with one of Percy Tau's former teammates.
Miquissone was deemed surplus to requirement at the end of the recently concluded season and joined Saudi Pro League outfit Abha Football Club on a season-long loan deal last week.
Following Badr Benoun's departure as well, the Red Devils now have two spots available for foreign players and they have seemingly identified their first.
According to publication Masraway, the 10-time CAF Champions League winners are set to sign Comoros international Faïz Selemani from Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk.
Selemi played alongside Tau at Belgian outfit Royal Union Saint-Gilloise, where he registered 19 goals and 11 assists in 35 appearances for the club.
Reports claim that the 28-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the Cairo giants, who are looking to bolster their squad after a disappointing 2021/2022 season.
KingFut also reported that Al Ahly have reached an agreement to sign Ceramica Cleopatra talisman man Shady Hussien, while they are also said to be interested in Algeria international Sofiane Feghouli who is currently a free agent after leaving Turkish giants Galatsaray.
