Kaizer Chiefs downed Baroka FC 1-0 on Saturday evening to secure their semi-final ticket in the Nedbank Cup.
The win over Bakgaga sees Kroonstad-born coach Steve Komphela getting closer and closer to bagging his first ever major silverware with Amakhosi, who are set to take on Free State Stars in the semi-finals.
Supporters have reacted to the Glamour Boys' progress to the semis, with some believing that Komphela's side is notably improving.
"Bra Steve, it's sad that Chiefs fans want you gone, your team is beginning to shape up. They just don't know what they want from you, leave them and go to a club that's going appreciate you." – MpyeK
"Komphela deserves another three-year contract." – SL_hated_donkey
"People are happy for Chiefs' win but how long did it take them to score from a corner kick? So they are happy with that? Wow, good luck." – vtebman
"I still didn't see the logic behind playing Cardoso, Mathoho, Hadebe, Zulu and Mphahlele. How are we really supposed to create goalscoring opportunities? He must also pay serious attention to Hadebe. That one is not doing it for me." – Nastradumas
