Here's how the readers reacted to the "10 Changes As Broos Names Bafana Squad!" story:
"Its an experiment since Sundowns have no local strikers. Our problem is that club bosses seek quick fixes, which suits their clubs. They go for ordinary foreign strikers when we have talent in rural areas. Du Preez and Grobbler should have been included in this experiment," says Soccer Fanatic.
"Du Preez for the national team? You clearly need to get your head examined. As for Gobbler? He is 37 years old," replies Saavedra.
"Great team. But I believe Broos has become too comfortable with locals. Blom should have been selected instead of Margeman. Thibang Phete in place of Sibisi. Hlongwane should have been there.
"In future, he must also look at Nanana Ntuli, Tsiki Ntsabeleng, Nkanyiso Shinga. These are fantastic players. Also look at Andras Nemeth, Philippe Sandler, and Ayanda Sishuba," says ronnymavimbela4.
"Broos, replace Mudau with Van Rooyen and Maseko with van Wyk, it's plug and play replacements. The inclusion of Mayo, Mokwana, Mlondi and Rayners is highly welcomed. Why not Mojela? The boy breaks the line easily and possess a devastating technique, correctly handling and converting all kinds of passes.
"I see that you haven't answered the throw-in and set-play question adequately, we have these players in the league and they are useful when it's difficult to break the lines. Now, Sundowns players, I wish you only picked two and give other players a chance since our players are guaranteed money in the bank in the national set up," says SkyKBY.
"I disagree with you. There this thing we call continuity!!! Other than that, selection is based on merit and form. Sundowns players qualify in both and furthermore, they have CAF experience which helps us a lot. Mayo would team up well with Du Preez, with speed and goal scoring opportunities. That is my opinion," replies Soccer Fanatic.
"Wena you are so obsessed with Du Preez," says Saavedra.
"Thapelo Morena is a surprise because since AFCON, he has limited game time if any," says Manephilly.
