Orlando Pirates fans are in high spirits following the team's victory over bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs in the weekend's Soweto derby.

The victory has restored hope at Bucs about their chances in the title race going into the Golden Arrows match on Tuesday.

Thembinkosi Lorch, Vincent Pule, Thabang Monare and Richard Ofori, as well as substitutes Paseka Mako and Siphesihle Ndlovu were some of the stars who shone for the Buccaneers, while the likes of Reeve Frosler, Daniel Cardoso, Philani Zulu and Kearyn Baccus tried without success for Amakhosi with their top performances.
A win for Bucs against Abafana Bes'thende tomorrow will take Josef Zinnbauer's side to equal number of points (28) with Swallows FC and SuperSport United respectively, and behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by five points.

Meanwhile, Arrows coach, Mandla Ncikazi, says his side is expecting a tough match against Pirates after their Soweto derby win.
"Another tough match is awaiting us against a highly confident Pirates. It's a bad time of playing such an encounter at the back of their good win against Kaizer Chiefs," said Ncikazi, speaking through the KZN club's media department.
