In anticipation of this weekend's mouth-watering clash, Abia 'Soul Provider' Nale – the former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder who made a name for himself in Naturena between 2009 and 2013 – has selected a combined Soweto derby XI.

Nale, 34, came through the youth ranks at Orlando Pirates development when his career started and went on to play for the likes of Golden Arrows and Maritzburg United, among other clubs in his career.

Having played in the Soweto derbies in the prime of his career, Nale has opted for a defensive approach of top centre-backs from both sides, including Thulani Hlatshwayo and Mulomowandau Mathoho.

Bucs' man of the moment Bongani Sam is also in the team, along with Chiefs' rising star Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, among other players.
In total, Nale has selected six Amakhosi players in his team, as compared to the five from the Buccaneers.
