With the season drawing nearer to an end, agent Mike Makaab has opened up on the situation of Andile Jali and a big discussion that they are likely to have in the coming weeks.
Jali's contract with Chippa United is set to expire at the end of the season and the club has an option to extend it for another campaign. As previously reported by the Siya crew, Jali is unlikely to stay with the Chilli Boys beyond the end of this season.

At this stage, retirement has not been completely ruled out for the player who has not been able to get much game time in 2025. There were talks of Jali retiring last season after he left Swallows, but he signed a deal with the Chilli Boys.
Jali, who turned 35 last week, has only made three appearances for the club in 2025. The other 10 appearances were between September and December 2024.
“He is training. There are no disciplinary issues. Again, one can’t complain because the team is doing well. We’ve just got to hope that he gets an opportunity, but these are just things where one has to wait and see how they play out.
