Former Orlando Pirates head coach Milutin Sredojevic has officially parted ways with an African giant.

Soccer Laduma can confirm that Sudanese juggernauts Al Merrikh have seperated with the Serbian tactician just four months after appointing him.
The ex-Pirates boss replaced another former coach of a Soweto giant, Giovanni Solinas, at the start of the year, but since his arrival, there has been a lack of significant improvement.
The Red Devils now compete in Mauritania’s Super D1 due to political unrest in Sudan but have struggled for form this campaign, currently languishing in sixth position. This past weekend marked their fourth consecutive match without a win, with three losses in that run — the most recent of which came on Friday in a 1-0 defeat to SNIM.
That result proved to be the final straw for the club’s chiefs, as the sharp downturn in form led to the sacking of the 55-year-old.
The former Uganda national team boss has overseen 10 matches for the 19-time Sudan Premier League champions and, despite expectations of a turnaround alongside highly regarded assistant Dusan Stojanovic, managed only four wins, two draws, and four losses.

While poor results have been alleged the main reason as to why the two parties have terminated their relationship, Sredojevic has informed this publication that the reason for his departure is due to nonpayment.
He said: "Due to non payments of wages we are parting ways. It is better to sit for free than work for free"
