Kwame Peprah, who finished as Orlando Pirates' top goal scorer in the 2021/22 season, is set to part ways with the club, with the Siya crew informed of the options at his disposal. The Ghanaian marksman fell out of favour upon Jose Riveiro's arrival at the side, this despite a bright start to his Bucs career in which he scored nine goals under co-coaches Fadlu Davids and Mandla Ncikazi.
This saw him spend the second half of 2022/23 out on loan at Maritzburg United, where he reunited with Davids. However, that stint ended in calamity as the Team of Choice suffered relegation. With no prospect of forming part of the Soweto giants' plans for the upcoming season, the dreadlocked player is understood to be on his way out of the club, despite still having a year left to run on his contract.
It is not all doom and gloom for the burly striker, however, as he has a number of options abroad, as per Siya sources.
"There are a few opportunities for him currently, and he will likely go for one of them within the coming week or two. There are two concrete offers in Europe and one in the Arab world," revealed a source.
