The 21-year-old defender joined the Norwegian side from TS Galaxy in March 2025 and after making a substitute appearance in the first round of the Norwegian Cup, he was rewarded with his first start during the second-round clash, Pan-Africa Football reported.
Molde played SK Traeff in a second-round Norwegian Cup clash that finished 1-1 after extra-time. The game went to a pulsating penalty shootout that finished 13-12 in favour of Kabini's side.
The defender produced a stellar performance and he was excited for the opportunity to make his first start.
"I am happy to start the game today, I felt so good," the defender told Molde in an interview.
He was content with his performances at left-back but was disappointed the game had gone to extra-time and penalties.
"We could have done better by not going to extra time and creating more chances to score," the former TS Galaxy player said.
Kabini said the team needed to create more chances in their next game.
