Orlando Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa says Jwaneng Galaxy coach Morena Ramoreboli's prior knowledge on himself, and any of his teammates will play no part in Saturday's CAF Champions League match between the two sides.
Leading up to the match, the Bloemfontein-born coach has said that he will count on his knowledge of the Pirates players - many of whom he has coached with Bafana Bafana and even prior to that - to his advantage.
However, Mabasa, who worked with Ramoreboli during his days as a Bloemfontein Celtic player says this will have no bearing on the game.
"I know coach Morena from working with him during my time in the development at Celtic and I had the opportunity to work with him at the COSAFA Cup last year," he told journalists at the Nedbank handover of the multipurpose court at the Job Rathebe Secondary School in Orlando, Soweto.

"He knows me as a player but this is a completely different phase, I've grown as a player and there's a lot more tactics involved. So, the game won't be the way he expects it to be.
"You can study all you want, but at the end of the day it's up to the player himself and the tactics on the day. So, I'm not really worried about that, we'll go out there and give it our all," he added.
Pirates will be weary of the Jwaneng threat, having lost out to the same side in the CAF Champions League last year.
