Lekgwathi: Hard Work for Pirates Over the Festive Season

Lekgwathi: Hard Work for Pirates Over the Festive Season

"It's true that everyone wants to be with family during the Christmas break but my wish is to see the Orlando Pirates team continue working hard during Christmas to maintain their form. I know it won't be easy but if you look at the with load ahead of them not resting during Christmas would be the best decision the team would take. I wish they can be busy during Christmas," Lekgwathi told Soccer Laduma.

Lekgwathi further highlighted the importance of preparing for the demanding second half of the season, where Pirates will be competing in three major competitions.

"You know there is the Betway Premiership, the Nedbank Cup and the the CAF Champions League. It's better not to have a break and do well in all the three. Resting is needed but it doesn't mean you go for a holiday. The technical team knows how to manage the players and if they can do that during Christmas then it will help a lot," Lekgwathi concluded.
