Coach of the national under-20 team, Raymond Mdaka, has named his squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, including Orlando Pirates young star Mbekezeli Mbokazi.
Mdaka has included Mbokazi in his squad to take part in the tournament, set to be played in Egypt from 27 April to 18 May. Amajita, as the team is affectionately known, are in Group B with Nigeria, Egypt and Morocco.

The tournament comes at a time when Mbokazi has become a key member of a Pirates side competing in three major competitions - the Betway Premiership, CAF Champions League and Nedbank Cup.
Clubs are not forced to release players for the competition, so it remains to be seen if the Buccaneers would be willing to let one of their key players go at this crucial stage of the campaign.
Without Thabiso Sesane and Olisa Ndah as options for selection, Mbokazi has stepped up for the Buccaneers with some matured performances that have helped keep the club in contention for major honours.

Kaizer Chiefs attacker Mfundo Vilakazi has also been included in the squad for AFCON and the club could allow him to go play in the competition. He has been used mostly as a substitute for Amakhosi this season.
