The Nedbank Cup Final Venue

The Nedbank Cup Final Venue

The iconic Cape Town Stadium is being lined up to host this year’s Nedbank Cup final, pending official confirmation and announcement from the PSL and competition organisers, the Siya crew has been informed.

Once again, the Nedbank Cup has delivered high-octane action, thrilling moments, and top-class football, reaffirming its status as one of the most prestigious tournaments in South African football.

Fans across the country have been treated to moments of brilliance – from sublime individual skills to stunning goals – all adding to the competition’s rich legacy.

As the tournament reaches its decisive stages, attention now turns to the highly anticipated semi-final clashes set for this Sunday.

Defending champions Orlando Pirates will take on Marumo Gallants at the Orlando Stadium at 15:00, while last year’s finalists Mamelodi Sundowns face their arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs in a blockbuster showdown at Loftus Versfeld Stadium at 18:00.

While there has been no formal announcement, insiders indicate that the final is expected to be staged at Cape Town Stadium – a venue steeped in history and famous for its electric atmosphere and world-class facilities.

The stadium, which last hosted the Nedbank Cup final in 2018 when Free State Stars triumphed over Maritzburg United, is seen as a fitting stage for what promises to be another epic conclusion to the competition.

“As things stand, all directions point to Cape Town Stadium as the likely venue for the 2025 Nedbank Cup final. It hasn’t been officially announced, but there’s a strong possibility the match will be hosted there,” said the source.
