One of Mamelodi Sundowns’ influential Bafana Bafana midfielders is being monitored by another French Ligue 1 team, the Siya crew has been informed.
The player in question is Teboho Mokoena, and this is despite recently extending his contract with Masandawana.

Insiders close to the situation have indicated that the South African midfielder, who has already been on the radar of European clubs, is now a target for a French team that is intent on signing him at the end of the season.
"It will be hard to keep Tebza for a long time. There is interest in him almost every week or month and it's becoming overwhelming for the club now. The latest is from France. I can't say exactly which club it is at the moment but the enquiry has been there, from France," the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second insider stated that the Brazilians have prepared for interested clubs by tying Mokoena down to a lengthy contract last year, ensuring they can demand a high transfer fee if necessary.

"At the moment we can say he is not for sale unless the money is good. In August last year he signed a new five-year contract with a one-year option which means they value him so much and they would want to keep him longer. If they are to sell him it won't be cheap but because the interest is from Europe, and France in particular, it could then happen as long as the money is good," the second source revealed.
The 28-year-old midfielder had a slower start to the season under coach Manqoba Mngqithi but has since become a key figure for Sundowns under Miguel Cardoso. This season, Mokoena has played in many Betway Premiership matches and scored goals, cementing his reputation as a top talent.
