Peter Shalulile achieved a rare feat in South African football on Tuesday evening, becoming only the second player to score 100 goals for one club in the PSL.
He might not be at his best, but Shalulile has hit double figures in one season for the fifth consecutive season at Mamelodi Sundowns, netting his 10th goal of the campaign last night against AmaZulu to take his tally for the Tshwane giants to 100. He joins Sundowns legend Daniel Mudau as only the second player to score 100 goals for one club.

Long before joining Sundowns, while he was at Highlands Park, Shalulile expressed a desire to play for the Tshwane side alongside Khama Billiat.
By the time Shalulile joined Sundowns in 2020, Billiat had already left, but the Namibian has gone on to make history with the defending champions with his goals and will no doubt go down as a legend of the club.
Shalulile's best season with Sundowns was back in 2021/22, when he scored 30 goals in all competitions. During that campaign, he came close to breaking Collins Mbesuma's record of 25 goals in a single league season. The Namibian netted 23 times in the league, just three short of breaking the record.
After the player bagged a century of goals, Soccer Laduma breaks it down in terms of how many he has scored in each competition.
