Keagan Dolly is in a good position to have his contract extended by TS Galaxy at the end of the season, as chairman Tim Sukazi sees a future for the experienced campaigner at the club.
Galaxy signed Dolly on a free transfer in November last year, a few months after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season. Before signing with the Rockets, the 32-year-old was linked with a move to AmaZulu and trained with SuperSport United, but was unable to secure deals with both those sides.

Dolly finally found a home at Galaxy, who have previously brought in experienced campaigners such as Bernard Parker, Vuyo Mere and Sibusiso Vilakazi. Looking at how Sukazi has given Parker and Mere opportunities to work at the club after retirement, there's reason for Dolly to believe that doors will be opened for him to stay for a long period too.
"Us signing him was not only for the field of play. If he also performs wonders as he is doing on the field of play, then it's a big cherry on top for us. We looked at him and at us and the young profile of our players, we thought a player like him would come play a significant role in many aspects of our changing room," Sukazi said to the Siya crew.
"He's got experience and he is a good human being. His character and persona fit perfectly at this club. We looked at it globally, as opposed to a narrow manner which is only football. We are happy to have Keagan, and I would like to believe that Keagan is happy to be here. We would love to have Keagan for the longest time. He is the perfect fit for our club.
He continued: "We are the ones who decide on the club (on exercising the option). But remember, it cannot be as one-sided as it seems on paper. In other words, all parties need to find each other on this. We are on a good path and we would be happy to have him for long."

Initially, Dolly had to work on his fitness and fight for his place in Adnan Beganovic's side. In recent times, he has been able to start more matches and is contributing with goals too. In 12 appearances thus far, the former Mamelodi Sundowns attacker has scored two goals, both of them in 2025.
As things stand, he is looking good to stay at Galaxy.
