No DNA, Just RSA: Mzansi Exports Score Vital Goals

It was a good weekend for South Africa's overseas exports as four of them got onto the scoresheet for their respective teams.

The story

Overseas-based Bafana Bafana stars, Siyabonga Ngezana, Lyle Foster and Bongokuhle Hlongwane all score some vital goals for their teams this weekend.

The aforementioned trio weren't the only Mzansi ballers to get lucky in front of goal, teenage sensation Shandre Campbell's effort is already a contender for Goal of the Season.

Campbell scored his first goal of the season for Club Brugge's Club NXT in the Challenger Pro League (Belgium's second tier), with a curling effort from well outside the box to help salvage a point for his side against Patro Eisden.

With Campbell opening his account in Belgium in sublime style, Mzansi football fans will hope it's a taste of what's to coming from the ex-SuperSport United winger in Europe.

Lyle Foster put the disappointment of not securing a moving back to the English Premier League with Ipswich Town behind him by scoring in Burnley's only goal in a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers.

It was also Foster's first of the new campaign and it bodes well for the 23-year-old's chances of starting for Hugo Broos' Bafana Bafana in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Uganda and South Sudan.

Ngezana's goal for reigning Romanian league champions, FCSB, rounded off a good week for the towering defender after they secured their place in this season's UEFA Europa League with a win over Austrian side, LASK.

Sesa's header helped his side secure just their second win out of their first seven league games, with the ex-Chiefs star hoping his good form translates for Bafana Bafana during this week's FIFA international break.

In the US, 15-capped Bafana forward Bongokuhle Hlongwane got his tally up to nine goals in Major League Soccer this season after scoring a brace in Minnesota United FC's 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.
