The story
Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana attacking midfielder, Sibusiso Vilakazi, shared some memories from his days at the now defunct Bidvest Wits.
"Vila" took to Instagram to share a video compilation of the goals he scored during his successful spell at Wits before he made a move to Mamelodi Sundowns in 2016.
Vilakazi, who has been without a club since parting ways with Sekhukhune United at the end of last season, scored 30 goals in 172 appearances for Wits.
At the peak of his powers, the 35-year-old was named the Player of the Season and Player’s Player of the Year at the 2013-14 PSL awards.
Although he won every major trophy a South African team could win while at Downs, which includes five league titles and a CAF Champions League, Vila will always be remembered for his dazzling, breakout performances for Wits.
