The story
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the future of Royal AM Football Club, Shauwn "MaMkhize" Mkhize has finally spoken out on social media, signaling that she's ready to move forward.
The Pietermaritzburg-based club last played in December of last year, after which their fixtures were suspended by the PSL in February.
This decision followed the club being placed under curatorship after the South African Revenue Service (SARS) obtained a preservation order earlier this year.
Since Royal AM came under SARS' control, MaMkhize has remained silent on social media. However, on Monday, the businesswoman and reality TV star took to her Instagram stories to address the pain she has experienced throughout this process.
"My side of the story doesn't matter anymore. Life happened, it hurt, I healed. But most importantly, I learned who deserves a seat at my table and who will never seat again," wrote MaMkhize to her 3.6 million Instagram followers.
