Billiat meets Zim President
The Khama Billiat has received quite the hero's welcome back to Zimbabwe after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs last year.
Yadah FC has given Billiat that superstar treatment so far, gifting the baller with an SUV and unveiling him in front of a packed Heart Stadium in Harare.
Billiat's move back to Zimbabwe extends beyond matters on the pitch. The 33-year-old is one of his country's most impactful football figures and his blockbuster move home has been recognised by President Mnangangwa.
"We went to visit His Excellency as he was welcoming one of our greatest sports ambassadors, @khamabilliat, back to the country," wrote Yadah FC in a shared post with Zimbabwean religious figure, Prophet Walter Magaya.
President Mnangangwa reportedly said this to Khama: "Be comfortable in the nation, this nation is ready to look after its own children and enhance their talent. If any opportunity comes please don't hesitate to take it and thrive as much as possible. Tell your other guys who are outside the country to do good for Zimbabwe and always raise the flag!"
