Tottenham Hotspur star Pape Matar Sarr is eyeing out a surprise new career after he retires from professional football.
The 21-year-old is enjoying a breakthrough season under Ange Postecoglou at Spurs and judging by the maturity and other qualities he shows on the pitch, he's likely to make a smooth transition into the career he has planned after his playing days.

Pape Matar Sarr's future career
Senegalese star Pape Matar Sarr has been one of Tottenham Hotspur's stand out performers in the 2023/24 season, with his energy sapping efforts and his intelligent interceptions helping him certify a spot in Postecoglou's starting line-up.
The talented midfield intends to utilise his intelligence by pursuing a career in computer science, as revealed by UK media.
"I keep up learning about computer software engineering as I keep that ticking along for the future," he told The Athletic.
"I may go on to take a career in software engineering or similar." It was also revealed that Sarr hasn't yet started classes because of his busy schedule, but that he plans to soon:
"Within the next year or two I am going to start lessons. It's not games I'm interested in, it's the electronic stuff behind a computer," added Sarr, in quotes shared by The Mirror UK.

Apart from taking a keen interest in computer science, Sarr enjoys watching watching basketball and Formula 1 during his free time, he's also stepped up his drip game of late:
