The story
Skillful attacker Bradley Ralani, who's endured a whirlwind last couple of years in his career, reserved some special praise for his teenage sensation son, Emile Witbooi.
Witbooi currently plies his trade for his father's former club, Cape Town City and is hotly tipped as one of South African football's next major stars.
With Ralani's mercurial skills being passed onto his 16-year-old son, the Hungry Lions star quietly rates his son as one of the world's best young talents.
In Ralani's interview with Andile Ncube on Metro FM's 'Sports Night Amplified' show on Tuesday, the former stated, "I must let you know, I've spoken about your son plenty times on this show, I think he's one of the best talents in world football at the moment."
To which Surprise answered, "I concur." The 37-year-old also revealed how his relationship with Cape Town Spurs' board was fractured after he orchestrated Emile's move to City.
"They [Cape Town Spurs] didn't even know about my son until he signed for Cape Town City. They didn't even know Emile was my son, so many teams came for him after he left School of Excellence," revealed Surprise.
"Sundowns and Chiefs came, there's a lot of big clubs that approached him but at the end of the day, I just wanted my son to enjoy his football. At the age that he is in, it's very important for him to just enjoy," he added.
