Al Ahly's management has reportedly offered substantial bonuses to their players if they advance to the CAF Champions League final.

The Red Devils are preparing for a second-leg semi-final clash against Mamelodi Sundowns following a 0-0 draw in the first leg.
The Egyptian side will be at home for the second leg and will be hoping to advance to the final and stand a chance to win the title for the third season in a row.
According to the Egyptian publication Kooora, a club source said that Al Ahly President Mahmoud El Khatib offered 200 000 Egyptian pounds (R73 000) to each squad member involved in the two games against Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
The source added that El Khatib has offered each player 500 000 pounds (R182 500) if they can get past Masandawana in the semi-finals, while 1 000 000 (R365 000) pounds is on offer if they win the competition.

The source said this would be a historic reward for the Al Ahly players, who stand to win a total of 1 700 000 pounds (R620 000) for winning the competition, more than half of the 800 000 pounds (R292 000) awarded to each player last season.
