The story
Young football fans in Umlazi, Durban, have been enjoying some up-close encounters with their AmaZulu heroes this season.
Usuthu use the King Zwelithini Stadium as one of their two registered home grounds for this season, and despite the club’s inconsistent showing at the ground, the youngest of supporters continue to clamour around the ballers.
A Durban-based photographer, Ayanda Mzondi, has posted a series of clips showcasing goalkeeper Richard Ofori, fullback Riaan Hanamub, and striker Elmo Kambindu embracing their starstruck fans.
