Bidvest Wits failed to progress to the CAF Confederation Cup group stages after drawing 0-0 with Enyimba in the second leg of their play-off tie.
Enyimba headed into the clash with a slight advantage after registering a 1-1 draw in the first leg in South Africa.
After a quiet opening to the first half this week, the Clever Boys squandered a chance to take the lead as Daine Klate fired over the crossbar on 22 minutes after latching onto Eleazar Rodgers' flick-on.
Enyimba carved out their first real opening eight minutes later, with Chinonso Okonkwo heading over the crossbar following a free-kick from Andre Abalogu.
Wits went close to breaking the deadlock five minutes before the break as Keagan Ritchie forced Fatau Dauda into a fine save with a strike from distance.
Dauda was called upon once again 10 minutes into the second half as he produced a fine save to keep out Bongani Khumalo's header at the near post.
Wits were dealt a blow on 68 minutes when Edwin Gyimah was shown a straight red card for a challenge on Oladapo.
Gavin Hunt threw on Elias Pelembe for the final 20 minutes of the half as they looked to push for an opening goal.
The visitors had a chance to break the deadlock with four minutes left when they had a two-on-one situation on the counter, but Rodgers failed to take advantage and Enyimba cleared.
The hosts were then awarded a penalty in the 90th minute when Omofoman was adjudged to have been brought down in the box.
Oladapo stepped up to take the spot-kick but saw his effort saved by substitute goalkeeper Kyle Peters while Ifeanyi Anaemena fired wide from the rebound.
Nevertheless, the encounter ended goalless although Enyimba advanced to the group stages on the away goals rule.
