According to Yallakora, the Club of the Century have submitted an official letter to the Ministry of Interior in Egypt, requesting full capacity for their second-leg semi-final in Africa’s premier club competition against Masandawana.
After defeating Al Hilal Omdurman in the quarter-finals with a 2-0 aggregate scoreline, the Red Devils booked their spot in the competition’s final four for a seventh successive season, and it is here where they will renew their rivalry with the South African champions.
The two sides have faced each other over the past seven seasons, with six of those encounters coming in the Champions League, but this will mark the first time they meet in the semi-finals.
In a bid to make the most of their home leg, the same report also stated that Ahly will send a letter to the Cairo Stadium Authority, informing them about the match date and all other relevant logistical information.
The Egyptian publication has been informed that Ahly, through their administrative manager Samir Adly, have already begun preparations to travel to South Africa for the first leg.

Of the five knockout round ties the two teams have contested, Ka Bo Yellow have only won once, but fans of the South African side will take solace in the fact that Ahly manager Marcel Koller has never beaten the Betway Premiership champions in the four matches he has faced them.
