Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has officially signed a new contract with the Premier League giants.

The Egyptian star has performed incredibly this season, scoring 27 goals and adding 17 assists in the Premier League.
Speculation over his future has now been put to bed when he signed a two-year deal and Liverpool confirmed the news in an announcement on social media.
Salah revealed he was excited to extend his stay with Liverpool.
"It's great to be here for another two years, so yeah [I'm] happy to sign another contract," a beaming Salah said.
"Of course I'm very excited," the Egyptian said. "We have a great team now. Before also we had a great team. But I signed because I think we have a chance to win other trophies and enjoy my football," he added.
In a message to the fans, Salah revealed a big reason why he decided to stay was to win more trophies with the team.

"I signed here because I believe we can win a lot of big trophies together. Keep supporting us and we’ll give it our best, and hopefully in the future we’re going to win more trophies,” he said.
