With Kaizer Chiefs having played to a goalless draw against Polokwane City this past weekend, fans have expressed their concerns about the club's current situation. Here's a look!
The story
Chiefs climbed up to eighth on the table on Saturday after picking up a point against fellow top eight hopefuls Polokwane, who currently sit 10th on the DStv Premiership table.
The two teams are now tied on 36 points with just one game remaining, with a victory for Amakhosi away at Cape Town Spurs likely to guarantee them a spot in the top half of the standings and a place in the 2024/25 MTN8.
Prior to the match against Polokwane, fans were optimistic that the Soweto giants would get a victory over their opponents, with many predicting that Cavin Johson's side would win comfortably.
However, things did not go as they hoped and their reaction after the game showed a growing frustration at the club's misfortunes.
One fan even said: "We are used to this, we are used to draws, we are used to losing. Everything that's happening at Chiefs is painful.
He added: "What's happening is very painful, you can see from all the supporters that there's no smile...no nothing! Like...it's painful, even if we are used to it."
Chiefs' last game of the season will take place at the Athlone Stadium against the relegated Spurs on Saturday, 25 May.
