Mamelodi Sundowns fans were jubilant after their side's 1-0 victory over Stellenbosch over the weekend.
Masandawana fans were singing and dancing the name of their clubs as well as its manager Rulani Mokwena ahead of the encounter, and had to reason to continue those celebrations after the final whistle had been blown while opposition supporters were left disappointed.
Stellies supporters were upset by the result, but appeared to look on the bright side as their team will still be competing in continental competitions next season.
Whether they join the Brazilians in the CAF Champions League or the Confederation Cup will be determined next weekend.
Check out how both sets of fans are feeling after the game here:
"I'm not happy about how the game ended. We were supposed to win the game. At first, we got a penalty but we didn't put it in. We just wasted a lot of opportunities. But overall it was a good game. The coach's selection for today was good," said one Stellies fan.
"We're going to conquer Africa next season. Stellies will be there next season," said another supporter who also mentioned his disappointment at the missed penalty.
Meanwhile, Downs fans were understandably more enthused not only by the result, but by their season overall in which they have not suffered a single defeat in the DStv Premiership.
"I like the winning run. The game was alright," said one fan of the African Football League champions.
Fans also made mention and expressed positive feelings towards Masandawana's Nedbank Cup final against Orlando Pirates that is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 01 June.
One fan, however, expressed his strange desire for his team to lose, and explained why.
