Reds place staff on furlough

The reigning european and world champions have been heavily criticized for placing their non-playing staff on furlough. Critics believe that big clubs such as Liverpool are in a good position to pay their non-playing staff on their own. Instead they are taking advantage of government schemes who pay 80% of their wages leaving the Merseyside red team to pay the rest. The scousers are now making a profit from the corona virus pandemic. Surely these programmes were not put in place for them. The organisations who are in need are the genuine businesses losing money and going out of business. The Premier League generates billions every year yet clubs are still leaning on the government to bail them out. Money from TV rights, Revenue and winning championships is surely more than enough to sustain their non-playing staff. Liverpool legends are now coming out and openly criticizing Liverpool Football Club. Footballers are now being targeted to take wage cuts due to the high amounts they earn weekly. Either way you look at it there is no way everyone will be satisfied. Because not all footballers are on the same level in terms of their financial status. Clubs on the Elite level should be coming out and helping their staff independently. Selfless acts of gestures should have come into fruition a long time ago. How much each club is gonna lose is more important. Money has now become the primary subject. While the livelihoods are not taken into consideration. What stance are clubs around the world gonna take with regards to their staff. How will clubs look after their non-playing staffnwho also have families to feed should the pandemic continue.
