On Wednesday evening, El Mouloudia will travel away for the first time in Africa's premier club competition to face a South African outfit when they play the Buccaneers at the Orlando Stadium.
The first leg did not go according to plan for the Algerian giants, as a second-half Mohau Nkota strike subjected the Ligue Professionnelle 1 side to a 1-0 defeat.
After the loss, MC Alger head coach Khaled Ben Yahia admitted that he was wary of Ezikama Ghebhula's quality. And while he acknowledges it will not be an easy clash in Soweto, his rhetoric ahead of the return fixture is different, as he is confident that his charges will challenge their opponents to the fullest.
"We will not say that the match will be easy against Orlando Pirates. Everyone saw the level they presented against us at our stadium, but we are going to South Africa to defend our chances," the Tunisian tactician told Kooora.
"Nothing is impossible in football. We just have to believe that our chances are still there, and let's do everything we can to return with a qualification ticket.
