Fans in Saudi Arabia did not get to see the best of the former Barcelona man this past season. Five games into his new adventure in the Middle East, and Brazil's all-time top goalscorer tore his cruciate ligament, ruling him out of the 2023/24 campaign for the Blue Wave.
At the end of next season, the Mogi das Cruzes native's contract in Riyadh comes to an end and it appears that Neymar could already be plotting his next move.
In recent months, rumours have been prevalent about a potential return to his boyhood club Santos, but the superstar has revealed that he would like to play for another giant in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A.

"Obviously Flamengo is my second favorite team, because the first is Santos," the winger told members of the media, as per Sport.
"With all due respect to the team that formed me and of which I have been a fan since I was little, I have great affection for Flamengo and obviously it would be a huge pleasure if one day I could play here.

"I don't know if that can happen. I still have a contract at Al Hilal, I'm still there, but I don't know. Nobody knows the future."
