According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, 19-year-old United winger Omari Forson has decided to join Italian side AC Monza ahead of next season.
The England youth international has chosen to let his deal at the Red Devils expire after making seven first-team appearances for the club.
In a recent statement, the club confirmed they had been in discussions with the teenager over a renewal.
This latest news means it is likely Forson himself that has decided to bid farewell to Old Trafford in search of regular game time at senior level.
The talented attacker made a surprise start against Fulham in a 2-1 defeat in February, but was not named in Erik ten Hag's starting XI again.
Forson was born in London, England, but is believed to also be eligible to represent Ghana at international level.
