Clubs across Europe have been busy in securing signatures early in preparation for the coming campaign, including 15-time UEFA Champions League winners Los Blancos. The Spanish giants have landed Mbappe as a free agent, but they have also spent the most money on a single player so far going into next season.
Brazilian teenager Endrick, who scored the winning goal in the Selecao's 3-2 friendly win over Mexico on the weekend, is set to join the club from Palmeiras after the LALIGA winners struck a deal to sign him for €47.5 million (R964 million). The 18-year-old striker has found the back of the net in his last three matches for Brazil's senior side, with Spain and England the wonderkid's other victims.
Brentford, meanwhile, have forked out €33 million (R669.7 million) to sign Igor Thiago from Belgian giants Club Brugge, making him the most expensive acquisition for the 2024/25 campaign so far. Newcastle United's Lewis Hall is third on the list, having completed a permanent transfer to the Magpies from Chelsea for €32.5 million (R659.6 million).

Italy international Davide Frattesi is currently the fourth priciest signing ahead of next season, according to Transfermarkt, followed by Colombian winger Luis Sinisterra, who has joined Bournemouth from Leeds United, and 23-year-old English centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis, who has officially departed Manchester City to play for Southampton permanently after the Saints won promotion to the Premier League.
Staying in England, young Ghana international Ibrahim Osman is set to be a Brighton Hove Albion player next season after the Seagulls agreed to pay Nordsjaelland €19.5 million (R395.7 million) for his signature. The 19-year-old will be one to watch going forward, after he contributed to an impressive 18 goals in 44 appearances for the Norwegian club in the past campaign.

Mike Tresor and Issahaku Fatawu's moves come in at eighth and ninth in the list, followed by Hugo Ekitike's permanent switch from Paris Saint-Germain to Eintracht Frankfurt for €16.5 million (R334.8 million). The 22-year-old struggled to make an impression in his short time at the French giants, after scoring just four goals in 33 matches for the club.
