Barcelona have confirmed their sixth departure ahead of the 2021/22 season, with the club desperate to raise funds in order to afford a new contract for Lionel Messi.
Having already let five players leave the Camp Nou in this transfer window, the Blaugrana have now announced the sale of left-back Junior Firpo to Leeds United.

The Spaniard follows Jean-Clair Todibo, Juan Miranda, Matheus Fernandes, Francisco Trincao (loan) and Konrad de le Fuente in leaving Barcelona in this window, with the Spanish giants aiming to raise funds to afford a new contract for Messi.
The Argentine, 34, is technically a free agent at the moment after his contract expired last month.
