The Romanian side navigated their playoff round encounter against PAOK quite comfortably, completing their progression to the Round of 16 with a 2-0 win over the Greek side on Thursday evening, winning 4-1 on aggregate.
This is the first time since the 2012/13 season that Ngezana's club have made it this far in the competition, and standing in their way of a quarter-final berth is French giants Olympique Lyon.
Lyon automatically qualified for the Round of 16 after finishing the tournament's league phase as a seeded side. Another club that completed the league phase of the competition within the top eight is Manchester United. The Red Devils have been pitted against Real Sociedad.
