Real Madrid and Manchester City will be getting a bigger grant than the likes of Wydad Casablanca and Mamelodi Sundowns at the FIFA World Cup next year.
The newly-revamped tournament will get underway in the United States next year, with Africa being represented by Wydad, Al Ahly, Sundowns and Esperance.

The Moroccan giants, meanwhile, have been put in a tough group alongside the likes of Man City, Juventus and Al Ain.
However, Wydad president Hicham Ait Mena has confirmed the European giants will receive a bigger grant from FIFA than their African counterparts.
"Wydad's grant will not be the same as Real Madrid's grant, because the latter will get a larger share for several reasons," Ait Mena said to Al-Riyadiyah, as per SportLeSiteinfo.
"This grant will only cause more problems than solutions because the most important thing is that we go to America to make a good contribution and honor Moroccan football and Wydad Club."
"If we are only looking for a scholarship, it is better for us not to participate and stay at home, because it is better for us to prepare well for the tournament and be at the level."
