England – Premier League
It was an unfortunate end to the season for Rob Edwards' Luton Town, who, despite some impressive performances this term in the Premier League, could not do enough to stay in England's top flight. The Hatters finished the campaign 18th on the table after recording just six victories, with Burnley and Sheffield United the other clubs relegated back to the EFL Championship.

France – Ligue 1
With there being only 18 teams in Ligue 1, just two teams – Lorient and Clermont Foot – have suffered the drop so far, with 16th-placed Metz still to participate in a relegation playoff against St-Etienne in the coming week. Metz ended the 2023/24 campaign just four points from a guaranteed place in France's top league.

Germany – Bundesliga
After claiming just three wins in 34 matches, Darmstadt's relegation was confirmed in April already, while Koln have joined them in dropping down to Bundesliga 2. Italy – Serie A
In what was a majorly disappointing season for Salernitana, the Italian minnows have found themselves back in Serie B after recording only two victories in 38 games this season. Granata, as they are nicknamed, collected just 17 points as they found life in Serie A tough going, with Sassuolo and Frosinone joining them in relegation. Sassuolo's fate was arguably the most surprising, having been a top-flight club for 11 consecutive seasons following their promotion in 2013.
