New: Egyptian Giants 'Sends' Complaint To CAF

An Egyptian giant has reportedly sent a complaint to the Confederation of African Football after being forced to train 70km away from their base ahead of their CAF Champions League quarter-final.
Of the eight teams that took part in the first leg quarter-finals of Africa’s premier club competition, the team that almost certainly booked their place in the semi-finals was Pyramids FC.
The Egyptian Premier League table-toppers thrashed AS FAR Rabat 4-1 at home courtesy of braces from Fiston Mayele and Ibrahim Adel.
The two sides will now contest the return fixture in Morocco and, in a bid to make a miraculous comeback, it seems that the Botola Pro Inwi side have gone to disagreeable lengths.
According to WinWin, when the Cairo-based side tried to train at FAR’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Sunday evening, half an hour before the scheduled training was set to commence, Pyramids received a notification that it had been cancelled without any provisions or warning.
The same report claims that the Krunoslav Jurcic-led side tried to organise as many as four alternative venues to conduct training, but all were cancelled at the last minute, subsequently forcing the side to train approximately 70 minutes away from where they were based, in the city of Kenitra.
As a consequence of the alleged ill-treatment since their arrival in the Moroccan capital, they have lodged a complaint to the heads of CAF in order to ensure a fair competition and protect the rights of the competing sides.
