The story
As one of Africa's most powerful football nations, Nigeria, have produced some remarkable ballers across its diaspora, who've proudly represented the West African nation in the world's most sought-after leagues and continental competitions.
With a vast majority of the current Super Eagles stars representing clubs in Europe, Nigeria continues to be one of Africa's largest exporters of football talent.
Stanley Nwabali, the Super Eagles' starting goalkeeper, showed his appreciation to his nation's most iconic football stars and named one of his international teammates as one of Nigeria's all-time greatest players.
Nwabali was asked by Andile Ncube on Metro FM's Sports Night Amplified to name the top five best players to have donned the green and white colours of Nigeria.
The 28-year-old keeper listed a few unsurprising names such as dribbling wizard and English Premier League legend, Jay-Jay Okocha and Arsenal legend, Nwankwo Kanu.
Former Super Eagles captain, John-Obi Mikel was mentioned in Nwabali's top five and arguably Nigeria's greatest goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama.
